"Mum!" Maira found the room where her mom had quite
recently completed the Isha petitions and was collapsing the request mat.
"Indeed dear, what occurred?" Mrs. Ali looked concerned.
"Mum, every one of my companions is in a real sense finished
with their Eid shopping and here I am still left with shoes, gems, and many
different things to purchase! What's more, there are just five days left for
Eid," Maira protested.
Her mom grinned at her girl. "Sit back and relax, we will go
out to shop soon!" she said pompously and left the room.
Maira had a place with an upper-working class family and was very
spoilt, being the lone offspring of Mr. and Mrs. Ali. She generally got what
she needed. Her folks some of the time used to get stressed that their spoiling
would lead their girl to foster a propensity for self-absorption and a
requesting character.
"Exceptionally awful, Maira! Have you offered your Zuhr
supplications? Continuously recall that Salah starts things out. Go higher up,
supplicate, and afterward do different things," her mom trained her, and
afterward went to the kitchen.
"Gracious God!" Maira moaned. She looked displeased and
gradually began going towards the steps.
That evening before heading to sleep, Mrs. Ali kissed Maira's brow
and let her the uplifting news that they would be going shopping tomorrow.
Maira murmured cheerfully and cuddled into her covers.
The following morning, Maira spruced up rapidly and went to the
parlor where her mom was at that point sitting tight for her. She had her long
shopping list prepared and was exceptionally invigorated. They sat in the
vehicle and went to the shopping center.
After a broad shopping of four hours, Maira at long last purchased
three sets of shoes for every three days of Eid, bangles, gems, cosmetics, two
purses, and a great deal of other superfluous extras. Her hands were full of
shopping sacks, and she left the shopping center. Her mum had purchased an
unstitched suit for herself which they needed to drop off to a woman tailor for
sewing.
The woman tailor, whose name was Amna, lived in an oppressed
region, yet she was notable for her master sewing abilities. It was the last
days before Eid and Mrs. Ali's standard designer was excessively occupied
lining the suit for her, so she had chosen to get her dress sewed from Amna.
Mrs. Ali was truly happy with her administration.
So when they showed up close to Amna's home, they halted at a
little distance in the restricted path before the house. Both Maira and her mum
ventured out and strolled towards the house and thumped at the entryway. Amna
opened the entryway welcomed them with a grin and drove them inside the
house.
This was when Maira first visited Amna's home. Maira
gazed at the house with so many considerations to her. "How might anyone
reside here? They have only a couple of things! How would they get by without a
climate control system in this singing summer heat? Could an entire family at
any point fit in two little rooms?"
Amna drove them to a room with a bed, two seats, and an old table,
and in the corner, there was a major trunk. Mrs. Ali sat on one seat and
requested that Maira sit too. Maira was hesitant, however, she had no way out.
Amna went to the kitchen and returned with cold water for them.
Then, at that point, she took out a duplicate and pen to write down the
structure of the direction Mrs. Ali. Maira saw a young lady of her equivalent
age playing with an old broken grimy doll outside the room. Maira continued to
gaze at the unfortunate state of the doll that had one arm missing.
All of a sudden, Mrs. Ali's telephone rang. It was a crisis call
from the emergency clinic. Maira's auntie had tumbled from the steps and her
foot got broken. Subsequently, Mrs. Ali needed to hurry to the emergency
clinic. She immediately educated Amna concerning the dress and other
significant directions. Then, at that point, Mrs. Ali asked Amna for a little
blessing: to care for Maira for quite a while because she lacked the
opportunity to drop her off at home or take her to the clinic all things
considered.
Amna invited Maira. At the point when Mrs. Ali left, Amna
requested that her little girl Ayesha check whether Maira required anything and
give her organization while she arranged supper. Ayesha drew nearer to Maira
and welcomed her happily. Consequently, Maira additionally grinned back at her.
"Umm thus, are you finished with your Eid shopping?"
Maira asked, attempting to loosen things up with the clearest question.
"Indeed, by the Mercy of Allah, everything is great. My mum
sewed a dress for me,' Ayesha laughed.
Maira checked Ayesha, "All right, what number of dresses out?
Also, different things? Have you gotten them?" Maira asked once more.
"Is there more than one dress required on Eid? Let's just get
real for a moment, I might purchase shoes on the off chance that Mum gets
compensated by a client today. However, on the off chance that not, then I will
wear the ones I purchased last year for our family members' wedding. They are
exceptionally great, you know," she appeared to be so content with the
possibility of her shoes.
Maira took a gander at her in dismay and inquired, "So where
could your dad be?"
"My dad as of late became sick thus the entirety of our cash
went into his drug. In this manner, we were unable to orchestrate sufficient
cash to do Eid shopping," Ayesha halted to slowly inhale and afterward
proceeded. "However, it's totally fine and I am glad that I have another
dress."
In her effortlessness, she proceeded, "There are small
children residing just next to our home, who haven't purchased anything yet. No
dress, no shoes, nothing! I feel exceptionally miserable for them. In any case,
that's what Mum let me know whether she gets some cash from her clients, she
will attempt to organize something for the children, as well!"
Maira couldn't trust her ears. She was at that point stunned to
see and catch wind of Ayesha's Eid shopping and her condition of living. Tuning
in about the children residing close to Ayesha's home made her marvel at where
she was standing! How favored and lighthearted she was. She never envisioned
individuals could live in such a state yet be blissful.
"You are a pleasant young lady Ayesha. I mean your heart is
loaded up with such a lot of appreciation. Today, you made me genuinely
comprehend the significance of observing Eid.
"It is something beyond wearing new garments and adornments,
it additionally means to share grins as you come! Furthermore, that is the very
thing I will do now."
Maira went after the shopping packs that were lying there took
out her new shoes and gave them to Ayesha. Next, she opened different sacks and
took out a few gems and a satchel, and gave them to Ayesha, who was
exceptionally shocked.
"These are for you! I will truly like it on the off chance
that you acknowledge them as a gift from me. I'm currently feeling multiple
times more joyful because I have spread one grin and my Eid is now
finished!"
Ayesha was stunned and emotional simultaneously. First, she was
reluctant, however, at that point, she modestly accepted the things from Maira
and said thanks to her with a brilliant grin.
